Several elementary schools in the city of São Paulo have invited LEA / UNIFESP since 2012 to participate in outreach activities to discuss the archaeologist's profession, Archeology approaches, Brazilian pre-colonial archeology, cultural heritage, indigenous issues, Forensic Archeology and Forensic Anthropology.
These activities are important to broaden the students' horizon regarding historical time, cultural diversity, scientific research, Human Rights and heritage.
